Villeroy & Boch Unveil New Range of Luxury Hot Tubs

Posted by Nick Clamp, in 2. Hot Tubs & Gazebos

Villeroy & Boch LogoLuxury Living, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading distributors of spas, saunas and outdoor products revealed an exciting collection at the SPATEX 2008 Show in Brighton this week. The company has won exclusive distribution rights to Villeroy & Boch’s luxurious range of Wellness at Home products, a collection of luxury spas and saunas.

The jewel in Villeroy & Boch’s crown is the SP-Line, featuring the exclusive JetPak System®, with removable jetted seats. JetPak technology enables Villeroy & Boch owners to easily customise the hydrotherapic experience to their own needs and preferences.  This unique system also ensures that hot tubs will always stay up-to-date as the JetPak’s can be simply removed and upgraded if the spa owner wishes to stay at the cutting edge of jet technology in the future.

Villeroy & Boch spas use 90% less plumbing which ultimately gives more power than most conventional spas. The JetPak System® means that all Villeroy & Boch spas are virtually leak-proof because of the way they are plumbed. To prevent further heat loss, the spas are also filled with high density foam insulation.

Luxury Living also displayed Villeroy & Boch’s state-of-the-art sauna range at the show.  Besides their eye-catching designer looks, Villeroy & Boch offer the only range on the market to combine conventional sauna, steam and infrared treatments in one compact unit.

Hot Tub Show Goes Swimmingly

Posted by Nick Clamp, in 2. Hot Tubs & Gazebos

February has again seen the hosting of the annual SPATEX show at the Bright Metropole Hotel. The event was a huge success with dozens of hot tub companies in attendence showing off their exciting new 2008 hot tub models. Some of the major hot tub brands such as Artesian Spas, Catalina Spas, Marquis Spas and Villeroy & Boch to name but a few were on display with huge stands brimming with exciting new hot tubs and features for the 2008 season.

Attendences at the show were again on the increase with lots of trade visitors plus a big influx of public visitors on the first day of the show, eager to see the new models and snapping up early orders for Spring delivery.  Congratulations to Sandy Crockford from BISHTA and Jane Vasey from All Swim in Cardiff who organised the inaugural BISHTA Awards Party to acknowledge the amazing hot tub installations from BISHTA member companies around the UK in 2007.  We will be publishing photos of the award winning entries as soon as we get them.

Once again, February is traditionally one of the quieter sales months in the hot tub calendar year to there are some fabulous bargains to be had at this time of year in showrooms aound the UK. Happy hot tub shopping!

Hot tubs for sale

Posted by Nick Clamp, in 2. Hot Tubs & Gazebos

2008 is here at long last and the hot tub sale season has begun in earnest.  We have spoken to a wide range of hot tub suppliers who are running sales throughout January to clear 2007 hot tub models and display hot tubs.  If you are going to be in the market to buy a hot tub in the Spring start shopping around now to see what deals are on offer.  Most hot tub companies will allow you to take advantage of January offers and take delivery in the Spring if you have some preparation to do in the garden.

Don’t forget to wet test and good luck with your hot tub bargain hunting.

Hot Tub Sale

Hot Tub Sale

Santa’s sleighbells are ringing and the Christmas and New Year festivities are fast approaching. For the uninitiated, sitting in the warm swirling water of a hot tub may seem strange, but on the contrary, hot tubbers around the UK are gleefully welcoming the colder weather and cranking up the temperature of their bubbling hot tubs in readiness for the Christmas holidays.

Hot tubs are much more enjoyable in winter and although we get fairly mild winters, there is only one thing on our reader’s minds when the snow starts falling and that is to lift back the steaming cover on their hot tubs and sink into the soothing warm  water.  Anyone who has been in a warm outdoor pool at a spa hotel or centerparcs in the depths of winter will get the idea.  The feeling is second to none!

The great news is that we are only 14 days from Xmas and more importantly only 20 days away from New Years Eve.  I’ll let you into a secret…behind the humdrum facias of UK homes, there will be around 200,000 familes celebrating the New Year at midnight in the luxury of their very own hot tubs, watching other peoples fireworks from the comfort of their favourite hot tub seat.  So if you know anyone who has a hot tub, make sure that you start buttering them up now to try to get an invite for the champagne New Years Eve hot tub fun…it really is the only way to bring in the New Year.

By the way, it’s not too late of you want to celebrate New Years Eve in your own hot tub, there are some cracking deals to be had at this time of year as December is traditionally the slowest month for hot tub retailers and a time when you can get your negotiating skills polished up and secure a fantastic hot tub deal.  Happy hot tubbing!
